MOTD - 11th March '14

Good day everyone~
Or evening.. depends where you are. For me, it's evening, so good evening/morning/afternoon - i'll stop with the good whatevers now.

Today, I decided i'd make a blog post on my MOTD (makeup of the day)~ if you follow me on Instagram *cough* @hardyharharharrison *cough* you'd be seeing "teasers" of what I was going to post. Now there's no more waiting, huzzah!

So, of course, we start off with a clean face

I use Simple toner before I do anything - pores and what not

Followed by their moisturiser

This is seriously cheap but quite good stuff. NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer - god, that's a mouthful.

A primer, followed by another primer. Etude House Baby Choux Base - this makes my skin matte

Only a small amount of this sweet smelling goodness is needed

Dot it about and rub that bad boy in

Because it is rather hot in Singapore, I don't feel like using BB cream as it's too thick, so i'll use the best concealer ever - Lasting Perfection by Collection (which is now available in SG!)

Just popping it on my face...

WOW MUCH DIFFERENCE, SUCH CHANGE, VERY SKIN, MANY FLAWLESS SKIN

As soon as I am happy with my concealer, I set it right away as this helps it from not creasing under my eyes - using Stay Matte Powder by Maybeline

(Sorry it's burry) I then put Lip Ice on my lips as a lip balm (this is pink and glittery, so you'll feel instantly fabulous while your lips are moisturised)

I prime my eyes with Urban Decay Eden Primer Potion (again, another mouthful)

Only a teeny-tiny amount will suffice

I applied a matte off-white eyeshadow from the Sleek Respect palette all over my eye lid

I'm going to use this brown contour colour form the Sleek Contour and Highlighting kit through my crease and under my lower lash line

In this shape - like so!

I then applied the golden eyeshadow from the Etude House Valentines day palette underneath my eye

Like so!

I'll come back to the eyes in a bit, but now I shall fill in my brows. I've been supporting a straight brow for a while now, I like them. Anyway, I use the dark grey eyeshadow in the Sleek Supreme palette

First of all, I like to draw a line on how straight I want my brows to be  - but only on the outer half

I then fill in the arch of the brow

With a spooly, I blend the eyeshadow forward, towards the beginning of my brow

For me, this gives a much more "natural" looking brow, rather than it being very obviously drawn in

Much eyebrow, wow.

I applied a pearl eyeshadow to the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them

I used my Heronie Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner to line my eyes

I wanted my eyeliner quite thick, so I applied it on my top lid first

Once I was happy with the lid line, I made a line from the corner of my eyes, going upwards - I follow my natural lower lash line

Then I connected the end of the line I just made to the line on my eyelid (I do hope i'm making sense)

Then I filled in the triangular part, and tah-dah

Once I had lined my eyes, I lined my waterline with Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick in gold

I then applied Fairy Drops mascara to my top and bottom lashes

Woo hoo, eyes done

I contoured using the Sleek contour palette that I had used previously

I applied Canmake's pink blush on the apples of my cheeks, as I am pale and if I don't apply any colour on them, I look dead

Back to the Sleek contour kit, I used the highlighter on the tops of my cheek bones, nose and cupids bow

I used this tester of Etude House's Fresh Cherry Tint in the red colour

Before I applied the lip tint, I blanked out my lips with the left over concealer that was on my brush

Only a tiny bit is needed

I applied the tint to the centre of my lips and blended out

FACE COMPLETED!

I fixed up my hair and made it look less poo than it was before

If anyone is curious, my current hair colour is lilac, pink and turquoise - mermaid-esque

I threw on my bowler hat, which I regret because it was so damn hot

$1 earrings from F21, aw yiss

When I get ready, I really like to listen to upbeat music, it keeps me in a good mood, and I am loving 2NE1's new album CRUSH, which I think y'al should give a listen to

Also, i'm addicted to Läkerol.

So yes, that's it for today! I hope you liked it and things~
I'll be doing tutorials again soon, I just need to manage my time right and it'll be grand!
