FOTOD & HOTD

Hello, hello, hello~!
Another FOTD and HOTD for you! I've also had my hair cut and coloured, but i'll go more into detail later on in the post!
I hope you enjoy!

Of course, first thing's first, I applied a moisturiser onto my skin! After that, I use NYC Face primer on my T-zone and cheekbones.

Once that was done, I used Etude House BB Cream all over my face, and this time I used a sponge to apply it. After that, I primed my lids with MAC's Painterly Paint Pot.

I then filled in my eye brows with Urban Decay's brow box in Brown Sugar and this time, I only used the lightest colour all over my brows. Then I used Dolly Wink's brow mascara in Cocoa.

For this look, I used the Sleek Matte makeup palette~
I used the peach/skin tone colour all over my eye lid, then I used the Urban Decay NAKED palette and used the colour Naked in my crease area. After that, I took the darkest brown shade from the Sleek makeup palette and used that in the outer-v. As a brow highlight, I used the matte white shade.

Once that was done, I went back into the NAKED palette and used the colour Half Baked on my lower lash line. I applied this where my iris is, so I looked straight ahead and then put the colour underneath - the middle of your lower lash line basically. Then I went back to the dark brown eye shadow and lined the outer part of my lower lash line.

Once that was done, I swept away any fall out with a fluffy brush and applied concealer. Then I used Virgin from the NAKED palette on the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them up. I set everything into place with my Rimmel London Stay Matte powder.

I used a white eyeliner on my waterline to make my eyes look bigger and brighter. After that was done I lined my eyes with a pen liner and applied Miss Sporty Pump Up Lash mascara~
I also applied EOS Lip Balm onto my lips to prep them for lipstick.

I used Pink Cloud blush from Natural Collection on my cheeks. I started from my hair line and blended it forward.

Now on to hair~!
I used Tresemme heat protecting spray all over my hair, then I blow dried it.

I used my straighteners to create waves and curls. When I was happy I used a VO5 texture spray, to keep everything in place. Then, I tied my hair up into a bun.

I wiped off the lip balm that was on my lips and used a bright pink lipstick, which I rubbed into my lips.

And you're done!

Here's a lovely close up of my face for y'all.
Okay, so now i'll briefly talk about my hair~
The colour: Do I like it? Meh, it's okay. It wasn't what I was expecting, at all. Originally, I wanted to go lavender/lilac, but it would mean 2 sit throughs and my hair dressers isn't cheap. And, i'd have to bleach all of my hair again and I just couldn't be bothered. So, I asked if I could go an ash colour. I will go ash blonde in the future, I think it'll look good~ but anyway, the lady mixed two colours together and this was the outcome. When I sat back down after it was washed out I saw this light brown, gingery shade and my heart sank a bit. The parts where it was pink/peach/blonde at the front and back look really good, they're a lovely shade of ash. I think i'm just going to have to get used to it for a while! You never know, I might end up liking it.
The cut: It's the same length, but much, much, much thinner! I've had more layers put in too, but they aren't even on both sides? My left side has much more obvious layers chopped into it and the other side doesn't and they're longer...  .____. I wanted the front parts of my hair to be trimmed or feathered out, but my hair dresser said he wouldn't do it because it would off balance my hair, or something along those lines. The hair dresser knows best I suppose.
Overall, i'm a yes and a no about it. People tell me it looks good and so on, but that's not really going to change my mind.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I hope you enjoyed~!

FOTD, HOTD & OOTD - with my sister!

Hello all!
This post is a pretty jam packed one, with a Face Of The Day, Hair Of The Day and Outfit Of The Day, which includes my sister!

If you would like to know how to create this look, then please keep on reading~
First thing's first, apply a moisturiser all over your face. I'm using Simple's face moisturiser and then I used Nivea's eye cream.

After that, I applied NYC face primer and, using a Real Techniques stippling brush, I applied Etude House Mineral BB Cream.

I then used MAC Painterly Paint Pot as a primer for my eyelids.

I used the Urban Decay anniversary palette mainly for this look - I used the colour Deeper all over my eyelid and then I blended the harsh edge with a Real Techniques shader brush.

Once that was done, I used the colour Naked from the Naked Palette from Urban Decay and used it in my crease. Then I used M.I.A from the Urban Decay anniversary palette on the outer V of my eye.

As a brow highlight, I used Soap & Glory's Vanilla shade and sweeped it under my brow and used it to blend out the dark brown edges.

Now we can fill in our brows~ I'm using the Urban Decay brow box. I used the lighter shade at the start of my eye brows and then I used the darker shade to fill the rest of my eye brow in. After that,  I used Dolly Winks eye brow mascara in Cocoa.

Going back into the Urban Decay anniversary palette, I used the colour Chase near my tear duct on my lower lash line.

Then, I used M.I.A again and lined the rest of my lower lash line. After that, I used the colour Vanilla as an inner corner highlight.

I applied concealer under my eyes and any other problem areas that I have on my face and set my makeup with a powder.

I lined my waterline with a white eyeliner - you can use a nude colour if you wish, or, if you wanted to wear this in the night, use a brown or black eyeliner for a more intense look~

I used a black pen liner to line my eyes - you can use a liquid liner, gel liner, pencil liner, whatever floats your boat. Then I used Sporty Girl's Pump Up Lash mascara.

After that I used EOS Lip Balm and Natural Collections Pink Cloud blush - I don't like applying lipstick before I do my hair because I find that my hair gets stuck to my lips and it's not nice, at all.

Now we can move on to hair~!
This step is optional: apply a heat protecting spray to your hair and brush it in. After that, get your blow dryer out and dry your hair.

I end up looking like Cousin It when I dry my hair...

After i've dried my hair, I turn on my straighteners. While they're warming up, I section my fringe off away from the rest of my hair - I tend to put it back behind my ears. When my straighteners are ready, I put them onto my fringe, pull them forward and turn them into me as I get near the ends.

You should get something like this - and I know it looks rather ridiculous right now~

Take the top layer of your fringe and repeat the process.

Keep doing this until you're happy - remember to run your fingers through your hair, this way it's not going to look silly having a cylinder as a fringe and you'll be able to tell what needs doing again, etc.
Once you're happy, just tie it back in a bun - sorry, no party in the back.

Hooray! Your bowl fringe is done!
I wiped off my lip balm and applied MAC's Creme Cup lipstick.

And that is it!
Now for OOTD - I guess it should be OOTN (Outfit Of The Night) because this is what my sister and I wore for my uncle's leaving/birthday meal.
