Gwen Stefai - What You Waiting For? inspired makeup (wearable)

Hello everyone~
This is the first of 2 looks that have been inspired by the wonderful, Gwen Stefani~ in particular, her music video "What You Waiting For?" from 2004. Gwen Stefani has vintage style makeup which is a timeless look, and suits everyone~ it's easy to do and can be paired with petty much any lipstick, so I will show you 4 different lipsticks with this look.
If you haven't seen the music video for Gwen Stefani's song, "What You Waiting For?", here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5qICl3Fr3w
And without further-or-do, let's begin~

First I applied a toner, moisturiser and a primer to my face. After that I used a foundation of my choice and concealed any blemishes with a concealer.

grrr... annoying hair >:|

Once that was done, I filled in my brows using the lightest brown in my brow box, then I used a brow mascara on top. I used a primer on my eyelids to prevent my eye shadow from creasing.

I used a matte cream coloured eye shadow all over my eyelid and I used it as a brow highlight (1)

I used a light matte brown (2) in my crease and made a wing shape with it. I deepened it up with a darker matte brown (3) and blended it all together and out. I used the same brown eye shadows and blended them on my lower lash line too. I then used a shimmery eye shadow (4) as an inner corner highlight.

I applied a highlighter to my cheek bones, down my nose, cupids bow and chin.

After that I used a powder where ever my skin needed to be powdered - I avoided where I put the highlight. I then used a lip balm to prep my lips for lipstick.

I applied a white eyeliner to my waterline to open up my eyes, then I used a black gel liner to create a wing.
To get a perfect wing, line by you lashes first, and apply your liner thinly and with short strokes, you can make it thicker later. For the wing, you want to follow your water line and carefully draw a straight line. The eye shadow that we applied earlier will help you out! Once you've drawn the line, you want to connect it to the line by your lashes, so you draw another line going straight down towards your lashes, you should have a triangular shape, you now want to fill in this shape.

I applied mascara on my top and bottom lashes.

I used a bronzer as a contouring colour and I contoured my cheek bones.

Now I shall show you 4 lipsticks that match with this look, the first is a traditional red lip.

The next, a bright orange lip.

Next, a bright pink lip with blue-y undertones.

And finally, a light baby pink lip.

Of course you can wear any lipstick you like!

Thank you for reading, I hope you like this look and there will be a Gwen Stefani crazy makeup look coming soon that's inspired from her music video colours "What You Waiting For?"

Thanks again for reading~
